3.5. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. It stores information that can be read by the website if you visit it again at a later date. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function properly. Other cookies are beneficial to visitors because they store any data they enter in a way that is just as secure as language settings, for example.

3.6 Social Plugins

Our website contains so-called social media plugins from social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. (links). The functions assigned to the links, in particular the transmission of information and user data, are not already activated by visiting our website, but only by clicking on the links. After clicking on these links with the respective buttons (e.g. Facebook likes or Instagram camera symbol), the plugins of the corresponding networks are activated and your browser establishes a direct connection to their servers.

If you click on the links while visiting our website, your user data may be transmitted to the relevant network and processed by the network. If you click on the links while visiting our website and are logged into the network at the same time via your personal user account (account), the information that you have visited our website can be forwarded to the network and stored there in connection with your account. In order to prevent an assignment to your account with the corresponding network, you must log out of your account before clicking on the link.

The purpose and scope of the data collection by the social networks and the further processing and use of your data there as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the relevant network. The respective social network is solely responsible for the data processing that starts when the link is clicked.

3.7. Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps for map display. Personal data such as IP address, browser information and, if enabled in your device, location data are transmitted to Google and processed there for the purpose of display and usage analysis. For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

3.8. Storage duration

Unless specifically stated, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes pursued.

3.9. Webfonts

External fonts, Google Fonts, are used on this website. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). The download comes from a Google server, which may be located in the United States. The IP address of your end device may be stored by Google. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy, which you can access here:

https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq

3.10. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. We process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in creating easy-to-use website access statistics in a cost-efficient manner (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the websites accessed) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. We do not store any of your data that is collected in connection with Google Analytics.

This website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Your IP address will therefore be shortened/anonymized by Google as soon as Google receives your IP address. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting your data in connection with Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can find more information about Google’s terms of use and Google’s data protection declaration at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.at/intl/at/policies.

3.11. WhatsApp plugin

We use a so-called WhatsApp sharing button on our website. In contrast to other social plugins, this is an HTML link programmed by us that creates a native deep link in your WhatsApp application. Data is therefore only transferred to WhatsApp when a user activates the link AND forwards information within their WhatsApp application to a friend (in this context, we do not transmit data directly to third parties (in particular the provider of WhatsApp)) .

3.12. Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
